Manufacturers mostly define speed limiters to the engine control units for each car. This is present either in the EPROM section or the flash section in the engine control unit. Speed limiters can be changed or permanently removed. If it's in the EPROM section, this can be done by using a diagnostic tool that has a programming function. If in the flash section, this can be done by remapping. We supply an option to our customers to remove speed limiters if their ECU of the car is applicable.
NOTE: This option can be added to P35 Economy and P35 Stage 1 as preferable. You can see additional costs on your car's software detail page. It's standard on P35 Stage 1+ and uppers.
