WHAT IS BURBLE (POPS BANGS) ?
It's the common name in petrol vehicles to the popping sounds coming from the exhaust when the accelarator pedal is pressed and released while the engine is running at idle or any speed.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE IT ?
This is an activation entirely optional to the vehicle owner. At the same time, the engine control unit must be applicable and supporting this option. If you're interested in loud and characteristic exhaust sounds, you can use this to satisfy yourself.
For hearing burbles sounds, you should use an exhaust system which both is suitable for performance use and must include decat pipe. Otherwise, the engine's operating system may cause some problems with this feature. Because burbles sounds are provided by the negative modification to timing advance maps, and the fact that the exhaust gas coming from combustion chambers can not be easily discharged from the exhaust may cause some negative reactions in the engine.
